hi all, tempted to go out for a walk, but resisting. I keep telling myself to be careful and not overdo it - and I'm not too good at that!!

Kirsty, hope you get the car sorted out soon, that can take so long to get resolved, but at least you are OK.

FFB, your night made me laugh, it sounds like the sort of thing that could so easily happen in my house, except it would be me doing the stuff you were doing.

Busy at work today so better get back to it.

Hi TP, sorry you didn't get to finish, but you did get to do 91 miles!!  Well done.

I went out early this morning and did just over 8 miles with minimal foot soreness.  I will take the day off tomorrow - the weather forecast looks bad anyway.  Looks like I may be getting back to running again - and I need to shift the weight that I have put on during my lay off.

Take care everyone.

Well, went to the gym yesterday and ran for 40mins with no ill effects - finished off with 10 mins speeding up by 0.5k every half minute.

Went for a walk with my wife this afternoon for 2 hours and my foot is a little tender so nothing tomorrow.

I haven't raced for ages, but I remember doing the Lasswade 10 a while back - it was soooooo hilly, but it was more than compensated for by the cakes at the end.

 Have a nice week everyone.

Thank goodness it's Friday!!  And thanks for the welcome back.

I might go out for a walk at lunchtime to make sure that my foot is still OK as I intend to go to the gym for a run on the treadmill tomorrow and if that works out maybe another run outside on Sunday or Monday.

TP - good luck to yo, hope it all goes well.

 Have a great weekend everyone.

It is good Alison, even doing what I am at the moment!  Any injury I get now seems to take forever to heal - the consequence of too many birthdays I am afraid.
