Alistairs the tee shirts at Ladybower were great, I also like a nice mug. Gutted that I won't be able to do it again but off to do loch ness marathon, but good luck for another successful race.

LB50 was a good race, if you're in Sheffield white peak marathon a good trail run, dove dale dipper beautiful scenery and a good challenge, High peak 40 another great race, all off road, fairly local and friendly. I will hopefully do Ladybower next year and avoid the 'sheep moving jam' good excuse to have a rest though.....I'd advise a marathon first, it gives you some idea of how your mind works during longer runs and it's such a nice distance.

Feel a bit guilty for not eating a banana now!!

Have entered the 50 and went to reccie the lady bower loop bit tonight, bit confused about where it goes when you hit the snake pass road, can anyone enlighten me? Happy with the rest as know it well. Had to laugh when I read Wills comment above about not getting lost, I got lost on the Grantham canal run, all I had to do was follow a canal !!

fantastic, so nice to have an off road trail marathon that isn't a mountain marathon if you know what I mean, loved the hills and loved the fact that I could sit in a warm place before the start! I will be back next year to break the 4 hours....

now can you see why I worry about getting lost, I don't even know what runs I'm doing!, going to bike the route next week so hopefully that will make me feel more confident. It's how I got into long distance running, I used to go on a 4 mile run and get lost.....
