Having entered this event already ( only the half I'm afraid ) I went for a run around the route last weekend. Absolutely fabulous. Great trail route with a few unavoidable road sections ( but not much ). Fantastic views from up on the hills. Save some energy for the 2nd half where the 2 big climbs are. I hope this becomes a regular event.

I used to say 'never' to off road running, but I am a total convert.

Hope to see lots of people there.

Tewkesbury is not bad, I have both my qickest times there out of 23 run (this year and 6 years ago) but you have just missed it.

Thanks for all the information from the locals and the organisers, it's been a great help and I shall probably turn up and run at least the first half.

One question though. Are there any showers available? The wife wants to go into Cheltenham shopping afterwards and I don't fancy it sweaty and mud covered.

Cheers

Tim

I live in Evesham and run with the club. We ran the course last weekend and it looks pretty good. Most of it is wide paths, just a couple of narrow bits but towards the end when the field will have thinned. Come and join us.
