Work do laugh at me...I'm "the guy that sits on a ball". Weird thing is, I work in a health board office and am the only one in the building who does.

Still, I do try to evangelise wherever possible. Sometimes I get visits from people what just wanna see. (:

But..you can't spin on a ball..

Well, you can, but it's difficult and error prone. And painful, depending on the end result.

I need a cup of tea.

For the first time in months I've opened my RW the day I receive it...not to mention my first post in months.

Anyhow, reading the article above made me think: is there anyone else who uses a swiss ball as a chair? I've used

one as my standard seating implement (at work) for near on 2 years now.

I don't have any problems with posture, cause the ball natually promotes a good one. Y'all have heard of

micro-breaks? I bounce. Which can be a little disconcerting when someone is talking to me. For them.

All of the benefits listed in the article I get by sitting on a ball.

Anyone?

p.s. tried posting this in General but got weird errors. So let's try here instead.

I've had app errors twice when trying to post to the General section (hence the two empty threads from me), so let's try here an see if I have any luck.

Testing...

I've had two from Argos - got them about a year apart and interestingly the older one now takes less air to fill up (i.e. make firm). Which is good cause it's easy to sit on - important given that I use it in place of a chair at work.

Been sitting on it 8+hours a day since sometime last year without a problem.
