I turned out to watch this one, lovely weather and "semi-closed" roads. I ended up having an altercation with a young gentleman that thought the road closed sign did not apply to him in his van.
Nice smile when I saw a pirate yellow. The kit seems to have changed a bit, with one worthy rocking some sort of black mesh thing over the top. However bones were on show.
Well done on those that took part, I missed Pixie, I was just by the first roundabout after T1.
Pixel, as ever you are a tease.
The bike poncery on show was epic. Even a couple of hours in the folk coming past were rocking full disc carbon wheels and one guy even had a monocoque postless number. Trying too hard bro
Was great fun to watch, well done all who conquered
Consider the shape of your feet. If you have wide feet then you are likely to want a half size up from your normal shoe as well as choosing a make that does wide sizes.
Your feet will swell under exercise and toes being squished into a toe box too small will give you allsorts of grief.
Agree with the OP and ask for advice on orthotics.
Elastic laces are nice too. If your feet swell they are more comfy than hard ones as they give a bit.
Did it involve a caravan?
Why would he not feel threatened? You can make light of it but
funny accent = different culture
different culture = they will react to stimulus different from you
different reaction = you don't know what's going to happen
not knowing = threat
Fear is not a matter of reason.
1970's adverts, cringeworthy
