Thanks OG - am hoping I might  fit a run but it may be a struggle  between kids activities ! Hope the weather's kind on Sunday if you're out in it all day ! Also am not convinced I've completely got over the cold yet as not feeling at all like a fit duck at the mo. Thinking about it I remember feeling very unfit soon after prev marathons - like " how did I ever run 26 miles 3 weeks ago ?"

Viking - great running - well done !.

Enjoy youre running/biking over the weekend all !

... no posts for 2 days - is that a record ?

Southdownsman - re the purchase of trail shoes after 99 marathons - I really like your style . I have been threatening to buy myself some trail shoes  for ages but have not as yet got round to it - that said I am still wearing the same running top I bought 10 years ago ! I beleive I am the only woman in Cheshire who hates shopping .

Well done on your half Claire - what a great time and a great mental recovery !

I have nothing to report I'm afraid, I have had a cold for a week which has been annoying as I wanted to run over the BH weekend - still looking on the bright side at least  I didnt catch it 2w ago !
