Well done to all that took part.....I went with 10 runners from the Tarts n Trouts running club we are all related 10 of us did the half and then 7 of us also did the full Marathon (Goofy)....we flew out on the 2nd Jan and did all the parks then did the races then did more parks and arrived home yesterday. I will say that the training was hard going but well worth it........I am not a fast runner more of a plodder can often be seen at the back of races but not at the goofy never had soooo many people running behind me before lol When we all got back on the bus to go back to our apartment at Old Key West the whole bus applauded us it was brilliant brought a lump to my throat will never forget what a great time we had. On the Monday the men went round Epcot trying drinks from different countries to celebrate then us 5 girls went out for cocktails at the Veridian (not sure of spelling) hotel very nice.......we wore our Goofy Medals and we got loads of congratulations and awesomes and good jobs lol. It was my first Goofy and my 5th marathon and it was out of this world. No time to slow down on my running as I have Paris marathon in April and then Beachy Head in October Would like to thank my sis for her company. If you ever get the chance it is a must do. Lynn |

Thank you for letting us know I have emailed the other Tarts 'n' Trouts that were going to run and let them know. We are unable to do the 13th March as it is Lydd half and as we are from Lydd we have to support our local run sorry. But next year a load of the Tarts 'n' Trouts will be in training for the Goofy challenge so we may well use the Thanet 10 for a training run....Thanks again and dam and blast this weather.

I am in Medway and have walked the 2 miles to work. it hasn't stopped snowing all day...not sure if the weather continues about a journey to Thanet ......will keep checking to see....will understand if it is cancelled.....I hope the weather improves....not that I have been able to do much running this week due to the snow but have walked to work and back for the last 3 days......dug my car out last night but it was covered again this morning......If I make it I will be at the back so can marshalls please wrap up warm and be patient lol Lynn | |

I had to change my email address where does that leave me I have been rejected every year since my first attempt 2006??? Really thought I would be running it next year. Lynn | |

Hi Guys, I did this race for the first time last year (wasn't fast) loved it have got a few friends running with me this year...we are making a weekend of it......just hope the weather will be as kind as it was last year. good luck everyone Lynn  | |
