For all you people who rue the fact that there are so few decent running shops in Oxfordshire, Cool Running has opened up again in Witney. I visited on Tuesday and they were very helpful and friendly - bought me a new pair of Mizuno Wave Riders.
Come on guys & girls, let's support this new shop so that they can make a little bit of profit and stay open this time. I know that you can pay a little bit less for gear when you buy over the net, but you don't get the professional advice and human contact. I even got a little bit of free training advice!!!!!!
I have w-riders and w-creations as well. Am vv pleased with them. I am a forefoot striker and the heel doesn't get in my way, there is good cushioning in the forefoot, and it handles the pounding from my 15 stone frame - well done Mizuno!!!!!!!
