Dear Severa, I use a drink called Power Bar, Hydro Plus performance drink, It is good for rehydration and gives you energy when running. I have read the label it does not mention caffeine in the ingredients. I buy it in my local sporst shop it does not taste too bad and comes in 3 flavours I like the berry best. I find I am less tired after a training session or race when I drink this before and after. Good luck Jo
Twirly, That is to far away I am in Portsmouth. Good luck any way and keep going, running is great. I am aiming to do some cross country runs through the winter, did a 5 miles last week it nearly killed me but I am game to have another go next week. It beats watching the TV any way.
Well done Martin, it feels great to know you have achieved a distance that seemed far away a few weks ago dosen't it. Be careful you do not do too much. Have a couple of rest days per week and build up gradually. Joining a club near you, it is a great help to you for support, encourage ment and advice. keep goning you can achieve more yet.
