One of my favourite ( but terribly corny ) films DL When I ran away from home aged 13, the police brought me home and asked me basically why. I didn't tell them because even though home life was awful, I was more frightened of being taken away to live somewhere else, and - this sounds really silly - I wouldn't be allowed to take my dog with me! If I'd have known there were people like you I would have been happy to go.
(((( Snaily ))))
that is some crane Chuggy. How on earth do they keep it stable in a rough sea? Still smiling from the lovely time we spent on the SS Rotterdam with you and Hans
Are you putting the Mountain Course on your Island Noggs? Lots of inspiration over here
So sorry about Bear FP I'm sure Guttie is showing him where the food is, Inca is taking him rabbiting, Rossie and April are ensuring he settles in well and Fling will provide smelliies for him to roll in xx. I reckon they've got their own Waister lounge up there, big bowls of fresh water instead of the coffee.
i think 22" is my calf measurement Meldy! It's a bit big for Bram!! Have ordered a couple of rugs, Bram needs to be clipped as she's doing quite a lot of lungeing and walking out, and Porkball is 21 so needs a bit of extra care. Megs is in a 6'6", the ponies rugs are 3'9"!! Good to hear the Pikey one is feeling better
Stunning photo Pippi I think even the GPO might think twice before tackling that one! I've never forgotten watching either a Red Kite or a Hen Harrier going for some chicks in the horses field. The mother hen squawked loudly, made herself as big as possible and managed to send the raptor off. The tiny chicks had flattened themselves into the grass, possibly to make themselves harder to grab, visibility wise being bright yellow it didn't work as camouflage against the grass!
well park runned Coco
Got checked out by Nurse Practitioner yesterday, have meds in case gallstones really kick off. Have promised Mr Tubs i'll be seen in the UK if ithey flare up Good and proper.
I have been to a tack sale Sold lots, donated stuff not sold for horses in The Gambia. Came home with a tiny saddle, a 22" girth and a rather nice gilet
Thanks Chuggy, I understand their reluctance to remove the cataract and risk the corneal transplant but it really needs to be sorted. Ironically my gallstones have kicked off! I'd shelved plans to see a UK consultant as I've felt fine but had to swig Aloe Vera last night and take a pill, ( begins with L ) which seems to have sorted it out but feel a bit bleugh this morning.
((((Podds)))) hope the unpleasantness didn't keep you awake
Daffs you are a legend headline news not column inches
Sorry Meldy but I'm still laughing at the paw prints and where the meds go! Wrap him in a towel, apply meds and run like hell!! ((( GPO))) cystitis, joking apart, isn't nice :0(
westie!! No rain for weeks here and now it's pouring! Shorts indeed!
podds if you were a horse I'd have you in stable bandages and on box rest!! Can you compromise and attach castors to your fluffy slippers to allow mobility but not overtax the knee?
Well done Daffs and what a fab prize
Coco I miss Mr Tubs when he goes to the metropolis that is Douglas town for a board meeting! So used to having him at home!
Hi Trigger Multi pack chocolate I can't run but I take chocolate cross training to a whole new level The rest of the time I knit and shovel sh*t, but not at the same time
I wear my crocs whilst working from home, Knots Landing on TV and away I go!
Dreaded eye hospital next Friday. Not leaving until they agree to sort the cataract out. Maybe only do two flights a day now, the 7.10 am one means getting up before 5 am, sore eyes and not a hope in hell if reading the eye chart so going the day before and staying over. Getting a train to Crewe ( all trains go there! ) and visiting Mother. A 15 year break still isn't enough to get over the last visit but we won't stay long.
