I'd add in the Grim Reaper as a good PB event, 10 mile laps means you don't have to carry too much kit, but the laps are long enough and varied enough so that you don't get bored. Not too much elevation either, it's rolling at best (or flat if you're used to running in the Peaks!) |

I did it last year - absolutely loved it! relatively flat first half, then a bit more lumpy for the second half. Navigation relatively easy, apart from one point where we went through a farmyard the wrong way and had to battle with a herd of cows and a slurry pit to get back on track I wouldn't wear shiny new shoes for it, it is a bit agricultural in places......check points are well stocked, and the Go Beyond team were great in both the build up to the race, and on the day itself. was very wet underfoot in places last year due to the local river having just burst it's banks, hopefully will be a bit drier this year as I'm doing it again. There's a facebook group for the event, if you search for Round Ripon you should be able to find it easy enough, I know a few people from the group are doing it again. |

Roger, if you post the message above on your facebook page, then I'll share it, as I'm sure others will, may be able to drum up a bit of checkpoint support |
