I agree Tutu Much. Alex did a great job last year too.

Alex, I'm sure no-one would mind sending a contribution for the postage. I did wonder how on earth you could afford it last year too. Please tell us if we can help alleviate the costs. Like Tutu I would be more than happy to contribute to postage costs and I'm sure we're not the only ones.

Thanks for that, as I said, it is not a problem being unable to see heart rate on console as I run (can look at watch anyway) but was curious as to why it didn't display.

Anyone who didn't receive the correct three pin plug; I received mine in the post today so it looks like they are getting them out to everyone now.

Have you tried wearing a wrist band under the watch? I have a very small wrist and had a gap like you but ran today with wrist band underneath which really made a difference and felt very comfortable. Also means I can wash the wrist band and keep watch stap nice and clean!

Jez

Answered my own question and have discovered that it does plot heart rate against time when using indoors on the treadmill although for some reason heart rate wouldn't display on treadmill console (?) Didn't really matter but wondered why as other heart rate monitors I have used have always displayed on watch and console.

I am very impressed with 405. I've never had a Garmin before, so have nothing to compare it to, but I am very pleased with it and also pleased I went for heart monitor version.

Thanks for the google earth info, really great feature! I know you can turn GPS off for a treadmill run but do you know if it will record information on time and heart rate if you wanted to download the information after, say, an interval session inside?

Thanks

Anyone else concerned with size of watch. I am a lady with very slim wrists and I haven't found the watch size a problem. Admittedly I have had to do the strap up pretty tight and the rigid face means its not as comfortable as my old watch. Running with a wrist band underneath increases the comfort and overcomes this slight drawback.
