Thanks again guys. Never been a water baby so don't have any pool wear, but have long been intrigued by aquajogging!
Will definitely try those, BD. Does it have to be the alphabet or can I use Burns? |

BD, I was dismissed from the fracture clinic with "mobilise as it allows", so no, not really as I don't really know what to do. Any advice would be most welcome indeed.
Fatankle, I agree with the too early thing, although I am within the eight weeks you mention, so your message is a welcome ray of hope. I'm hoping I'll just know when its stopped being too soon, but I'd say it looks more like being ten or twelve weeks. Hope you heal up well and get back on the road.
Thanks for listenig,

Hi guys,
I broke my third metatarsal in the end of July. My foot was in plaster for five weeks and for the first two of those I was completely off of it.
I've freed it from the evil fibreglass clutches now, and don't need the hand crushing aluminium crutches (thank god), but I still limp when I'm walking.
I can limp really quite fast and can limp really quite far, in limping terms, but feel that if I can't walk properly the chances of having what by now will surely be a very short and difficult run being wise are slim to non-existent.
I was hoping I'd be okay for a wee ten minutes or something by this weekend, but I really don't feel it would be the right thing to do as I'm still limping. Can anyone please tell me it would? I've pretty much consigned myself to not racing this year but I really did hope I'd be at least out there. Right now it feels like this'll take forever. |

You joining us GG? Ah'm no playin wi ma foot, but I think I'll be marshalling if I can get to the 7.30am call.
Tough going for a Sunday but I'd like to put something back after Edinburgh, so to speak.
I found out today (yesterday) I can't defer, and I know they don't like it, but if anyone wants a number, let me know.
Your best bet at the moment is ChristieWilliamson@hotmail.co.uk.
Don't all call at once.
Hope everyone's fitter and healthier than I am!
