hi. not much of a map reader iether. does any one who has done the race before know how easy or difficult is it to get lost? all the info looks intimidating. do you need to run with map and directions? are there other runners to follow as wiht other marathons or are there too few enterants? panicing a bit what do people think?
Matt, my room had chocolates as well as gells, PAB's room even had a telly.
i would thought have the course wold be quick with all that wind. tried to walk down some of the sisters but with the wind only run was an option. so glad it was behind us. some one said it raind for the last bit, but everything hurt so much i did not notice
hi folks. great day i think. might change my mind when i get up tomorrow, or try to. did 4.40 so about right. half way was in 2 hours so faded badly in the second. game of 2 halfs harry.
had great stay over at snicks B+B recomend it. thanks to them.
Yes well done matt but the time is only half the story. it is not about the training that he has put in or the natural athleticism or the tin of red bull he had for breakfast. the result was clearly down to the coaching and encouragement PAB and myself gave him over breatfast.
while we are on the subject i do not up the time PAB and i both got (4.40ish)down to our lack of training, red bull, natural flair. but to the face that Matt had eaten all the bananas and pancakes before we got there.
