Yup, I realise we'll be 270 metres lower, but Pen y Fan is the nearest spot the Met Office website allows you to choose. And their forecast's changed again - now says mist changing to sunny intervals!
... now saying sleet in the morning and sunny intervals later...
I'm looking forward to this. Met office currently say light rain followed by sleet and snow for Pen y Fan...
My race report is here on the Fell Runners Association forum.
I can understand how Clairster helped you on the run in, DE. I think I would have timed out or given up but for the guy I teamed up with at Ambleside.
Scuse me, must go and browse Fixing Your Feet.
Good luck everyone.
Currently cloudy in Coniston but the top of the Old Man's visible.
