I'm in a bit of a quandry on how to re-start running. I've previously done up to marathon training and racing so know its in there somewhere. I had baby five weeks ago and feel ready and raring to go to get started again. Thinking of doing a 10k in September but have not run for over 12 months in total although have been doing pilates/yoga/swimming and just wondering where to start retraining ... any ideas or advice? Should I be starting on a beginners schedule or leap in a bit higher?
I kinda did a buy one for me and one for my mate thing with my mate now ducking out so I have a spare place for the Great West Run on 3 May 2009 .... I will pass it on at face cost of £30 to anyone that would like it ....
