Mokina, sorry for giving you any query about being open about periods, I honestly meant that I like that you mention it, because, its bl.....y well is a big part of our lives and you are right to be open about it.
Redhead, Hi YA.
Birdypie, remember you have to fit in all your social activities too, so two marathos a month would definitely be too much.
Hellen if it was even windier than last year Dear Love you, for I found it hard going last year. So even double well done!
I needed to come on and satisfy my attachment to you all.
I am so pleased for both of you, Hellen and Mokina. I think you did great. Hellen Edinburgh was exactly the same last year, strong headwind going out and warm last few miles, but isn't the course wonderful. Your time is excellent well done .Mokina, I didn't even know Newry had a marathon, but maybe its all happening now that its a city, HA-Ha. You have a wonderful Continental openness about your menstrual cycle. It plays such a big part in our lives, doesn't it. You should both be so proud of your achievements, especially as its two marathons in a month. Wow.
My symptoms of MS are decreasing which is why I tried to do a gentle jog today with my best friend. I was totally chuffed to run for nearly 10 mins but I have to say that some of my symptoms which I thought had decreased a lot came back worse afterwards. And it did feel very uck running.
Nevertheless, I can see that I'm getting there. HOORAH!!!!
Heh, Ij how come you're so excited about "marathon" bars, and not so excited about running them. ! Oh so cruel!!
Relaxed so sorry to read that you had a bike accident. Glad you're still alive to tell the tale. Hope your injuries clear up soon.
Birdypie, lovely to speak again to you also, don't fret about a bad race, you are allowed to have a bad one, remember how well you done in the marathon, and thats not so long ago. Lovely to speak to all of you. I am very impressed with you, can't believe the enthusiasm, to tackle triathlons nad other races now.
Relaxed, I'm not normally overweight , but recently lost half a stone in one week due to this thing. I hated losing weight without trying and kept having to force myself to eat (lost taste as part of this condition). That was the first time ever in my life as I normally just eat, and eat, and eat. So when I read about you being the same, I can relate completely to you.
. Why not just keep eating but make sure you have healthy food constantly on offer, and always go for the healthiest, and even lowest calorie options, for those constant snacks. My brain is always thinking about food. I love it!... I reckon its a sign of health!
I have only read this page, so sorry not up-dated yet on you all. But it sounds as though Redhead you ahve done something else , was it another biggie, and how did it go.
What about others still running?
I am still off work, but symptoms although not away are I think lessening slightly.Or else I'm just getting used to them. Hands trunk, legs feet all still numb. Arms hands and legs weak. Hearing has come back, and I think I'm starting to feel my private parts a bit more.I am able now to stay up most of the day, but still tire very easily. Even trying to type this. AAAAAh
I am in good form. Weather is beautiful, and life is good.
Hi there. CF andHenry 63 and others I've just been diagnosed with MS.
I have ran three slow marathons, last one on 16 March in Rome. Diagnoses all new, but just thought I would try to come on here to find out if there are people running with MS. I have to wait and see how this is going to pan out for me as symptoms currently are a bit scary., although Doctors say they are hopeful ? I would love to think that these symptoms will go away and that I can start running again,(shorter miles) as a way to keep healthy and strong for future.
So it would be lovely to chat more if you get this message.
