Nothing till the Reading Half in March for me, although I'm looking for a cheeky 10k soon to try and get me a PB on the back of the training I did for the GSR ... |

The T-shirt is exactly the same as the Great North Run one, and that has (so far) lasted at least 2 times in my washing machine !!! What wind in the last 2 miles ??!!!! We tried to warn people about it - but as it happened I was expecting the worst and I thought it wasn't too bad yesterday - I've had worse !!! I've just signed up what will be my 5th GSR in 2013 !! |

My watch also said 10.15 Harry !! I was pleased with my 1:16:36, which is a PB for me. (I was quietly wanting 1:15, but I'm happy!). Saw Bugs Bunny (Karl) at about 6.5, but no one else that I 'knew'. Fine running conditions once we got going, good supporters - all in all an enjoyable day. Same time next year chaps and chapesses ????? |
