Hi Mark I'm coming to run on Sunday, but have recently had a cold which has knocked my training somewhat, so I will be going slower than I had intended (which wasn't very fast in the first place!). Is there a cut off period for finishers? I'm hoping I will finish in just over an hour, but just wanted to know how long the marshalls were intending to be out on the course Thanks Jess |

Just wondering if anyone is using the training schedule in the marathon news magazine. I am quite enjoying it's format, and training to times rather than distances (which is new to me) I am training to the improvement plan (the middle one!), and wondered about the threshold runs and how long you should leave between the timed threshold pieces. Should it be a minute, or longer? Think I have to tackle my first threshold session next week, so it would be good to know before then Thanks |

That's great news screamapillar! I've also got confirmation from them today too, so my crossing fingers (and repeated e mailing to any realbuzz e mail address I could find!) seems to have paid off.
JPenno, have you tried the emailing tactic yet?
I have to say, my hotmail hasn't had this much attention from me before. All because of one confirmation e mail.... ah well.
Roll on October! (hoping the finger crossing tactic will work again!) |

| Thank you message? I haven't got one of those either! I think I might be onto a losing streak here! |

Thanks screamapillar. It's good to have a named email to send stuff to. I was sending to london@realbuzz.com which I'm guessing won't be checked as frequently. Off to try again! |
