I've been in this situation for a year now, working in Oxford and getting back north every other weekend.
This is a middle weekend so staying south, the job and money is good but still tough to handle sometimes, walking around the supermarket tonight watching couples doing what they probley think is boring routine stuff that I would give eye teeth for………..but then again no one put a gun to my head.
Anybody else in a similar situation? | |

I run in shorts all year round as legs never seem to feel the cold, but last couple of runs I havn't seen anyone else with their legs out.................is there anymore hardy (foolish) like minded souls out there? | |

Wasn’t much fun and not feeling much better this morning! Ran 10km for the first time in ages, been busy all summer doing loads of stuff…..(apart from exercise). The time was a massive 12mins, yes twelve minutes more than I was checking out before layoff. Everywhere is aching this morning, shoulders, soles of feet, hips…….. BB. | |
