I did a pb as well so am dying to see it in black and white when the results appear on the website. When I was 17 I did my pb of 1h31m and yesterday 25 years later I ran 1h 27m at the age of 42!! Priceless!! I broke my foot 2yrs ago but in 2009 I have run a pb in every distance from 10k to marathon!! Isn't life strange?
Thanks yet again to Thanet Road Runners for a really great race! Excellent marshalling and a well organised event. Thanks also to two men Mark and John who I ran about 15 to 20 miles of the race with and we all ended up with a PB. A lso thanks to my boss( Joanne) at DHL ALLINGTON for the hug at the start of the race!
I did an early morning 22 mile training run today which went well and I am looking forward to the Marathon hoping it will not be quite as demanding as last year. I haven' t received my number yet but did I read somewhere that online entries pick up their numbers on the day?
