evening all hope everyone is well and enjoying this weather, i did something really stupid yesterday and attempted a walk/run because my foot felt ok, suffering today and really wish i had not done it. My PF is now as bad if not worse as it was when i first ahd it diagnosed back to the bike tomorrow and this time i will rest for at least a month rather than two weeks, pretty sure i am going to have to pull out of half in September now though. on a good note, its still sunny and i have wine |

Hi everybody, i am trying to remember names, but there is quite of a lot of you thanks for the encouragement regarding my Half in September, my PF is feeling less acute than last week. so i am going to have 1 more week of run/walk rest then ease back in with some gentle walking on grass next week, if that goes alright I will pick my training back up. I am really enjoying cycling at the moment and hopefully that is keeping my fitness up. I have cycled between 5-10 miles every day since i have been unable to run (handy training for my 15 mile commute to york in October when i start Uni) Have a nice day everyone this weather is amazing |

totally agree that is down to bad owners! I have two large greyhounds , who if saw someone running would run right at them, only because they want to run no menace in them at all. But that is not the point they are big and they are fast and i would not dream of allowing my dogs to intimidate someone like that. i have taught them the command stop and they do, I then lead them until runner etc has passed. They are great running partners for me though |
