Registration is in the clubhouse at Newbridge Fields, so if the weather's nice there's the park and playing fields, and running track ! If the weather's not so good,the recreation centre has a leisure pool (need to check opening times though).

Not sure how old the kids are, but mine have always loved exploring the area around the dunes, near merthyr mawr. If your wife drops you off and drives down to candlestone car park, they can climb the legendary big dipper and watch the race from on high ! Let me know if you have any more questions...

Yes, it is mostly club runners, and still incorporates the mob match, but everyone is made to feel very welcome. It's a lovely flat scenic course, with a few hump back bridges to add a bit of variety !

Yes it's same cost for enter-on-day as advanced entry. It's a fairly small race, so shouldn't be too busy at  registration. Just bear in mind, that registration is 1 mile (10 minute jog) from the start !
