I would suggest almost all of the posters ran the race.
Constructive criticism is good, the fact that quite a few people, including myself, commented on looping around Sefton park means there may be something worth looking at for next year.

As for the start, not sure what actually went on but I'm sure someone somewhere could have done something.
I can appreciate how tough it must be to put on a big city mara' and on the whole it was brilliant. Just a few niggles that people should comment on, that's how things get better.
(Not sure about the baggage arrangements being better than London, but I didn't have a problem either, it was very efficient and painless))

Got to be honest here

Start was the poorest i've seen (If the weather panned out as the weather reports predicted it wouldn't have been pretty), someone somewhere made a mess of that.
First 18 or so was excellent, the crowd were brilliant all round, as someone has already said, coming out of the tunnel was superb.
I found the billionth lap of sefton park a bit tedious, it felt like we were just making the distance up (probably just what we were doing I suppose)
Tough course and challenging race, well done for that (got a PB so thanks for that too)

Good race, fantastic support, probably not for me again though.

G'day all

steady 10 today in 1:28, nice and fresh on the Costa Manchester this morning.

The Shiraz took a hammering last night so these weren't quality miles in any way, shape or form!
