Hullo
Is anyone here a member of this club? I have some friends who are good runners and are going to join. I'm keen to have some regular running activity planned, especially to keep me going over winter.
I'm a long time runner (with a few breaks over the years), I've run a couple of marathons, and a few halves but I'm not a speedy girl my any means (unlike my whippy friends!). I wondered if anyone is a member, could you tell me what the club is like please? I run 2/3 times a week and do a 10k in 65mins to give you an idea of my pace at the moment. I know the whole point is to improve, but I want to have fun too.
If anyone here is a member of the club, could you honestly tell me what its like and would I be ok going along?
I'm slightly shy about it as after my first marathon I went to another running club for a couple of sessions but they were all so serious and all so fast. There were only a couple of girls and although very friendly and sweet towards me they were super speedy and I couldn't do the track exercises very quickly and I just felt silly and like I was holding everyone up.
Thanks folks |

I've just signed up for this 10k with some pals.
Anyone else going? It would be nice to meet up with some other RW forumites as I've just got back into my running (and back on here).
Does everyone dress up for this Margam race?
Edited to say - its the 4th Dec btw - 2 dates show in my title

Hi, Ok I have a set of CDs that are a bit like audio books - a set of recordings and there are 12 CDs in the set. I'd like to put them on itunes and then my ipod and file them under a seperate playlist for things like this. When I put the 1st CD in my PC to import it instead of being 1 CD that I can label like a track, it has about 30 'mini tracks' on it all unlabelled. I can see that by the time I get all 12 CD imported and moved to my playlist that I've set up for them, they'll be in a right muddle and I won't know what order to play things. So, is there some way I can merge all the mini tracks to play as one big track so basically I'll end up with 1 track per CD = 12 tracks that I label in itunes and therefore play easily in the right order on my ipod? If anyone has the slightest clue what I'm going on about can you post some instructions for me? Thanks everso! |
