Bread Boy - French Stick Qualified

Hello all!

Just popped on to wish everyone the best of luck for the big day.

Bound to be some on here who weren't in Paris last year, as well as the veterans who ran when I did!

My sister said some of you were asking after me, which is nice.

As much as I'd love to be there, I was sensible enough to know that after last year I knew running wasn't for me. I completed Paris last year, and that is something I'll always be proud of, despite the last 2 miles of absolute hell with my knee almost caving in.

Even now almost a year later, my hip sometimes gives me grief, but my knee is fully recovered after 8 months!

So, with all my heart, I wish you all the very best in Paris, and just make sure you enjoy it. I'll be watching on Eurosport, and will pop on here again soon to see how you all got on!!

If I go, I'll be running. And I can't let that happen!

I couldn't go all the way out there and not run. I'd cry!!

Awwwww - you guys!

I really wish I was going to Paris again - absolutely loved it this year.

But I've given up running because of my knee - even now I get twinges, so I think my body is telling me once was enough.

I'll be here to encourage you all though - and of course my Sis!!

Caz - we are down Mum's Sunday, and I'll try and get the treaddy in the car. Might have to take it apart though (well the handles at least)

I wish you all the very best of luck next year - and for any first timers - it's a fantastic course, in a fantastic city - if I can do it, anyone can!

Someone can still be the first to register!! No-one has yet.

And their dates for the entry times are wrong.

Well registration is open - but I noticed they have their dates wrong for the entry fee!
