Not so good im afraid, it took ages to sort itself out (was offered a boot to take a bit of the pressure off, but choose not to have one - cant say if that was the right thing to do or not). Basically I had 13 weeks of no running at all and then when I started again I had to take it really easy (limped around for at least 8 weeks and going up and down stairs was a nightmare).
Did first 1/2 mara 19.10.2014 - which was fine, but due lack of training was much slower than norm.
Foot does feel fine now though, so hopefully no long lasting effects.
Sorry I know I sound like a right old moaner ! Suppose its because im lucky that I havent had any problems before and I just thought I would carry on like that.
Also even walking is proving a problem at the minute so I am feeling low.
Moan over, thanks for your advicce I will give it another week and then get working on a x ttraining plan (staying off my feet as much as poss pehaps bike / swim first then look re-assess the situation.
