Glad to hear Monty and the gang have successfully returned to Cloggyland. Sounds like a world war 2 movie.
I use my name. I find it easier to keep up with the plot that way.
I thought Sluggie was out cruising again, but didn't like to assume.
I have just enjoyed a complimentary breakfast in first class. How excited am I. I want to keep telling the train staff that I'm not a regular poshy. Ticket price was the same as a regular seat. Sadly back to normal on the return leg so making the most of the leatherette seat and extra leg room.
Happy Tuesday. May the fog clear to let the sun shine in and free the freckles
wooo hooo for weekend runners, riders and swimblers.
Where's Sluggie off to again?
Can't remember much else but little horse boxes, bhangra beats and dancing dogs.
We had a quiet weekend. Stayed overnight in the cabin having drunk rather too much on Saturday - hence my intention of early morning run through the woods turned into sitting quietly for the morning drinking tea.
Off to Northampton - must remember I'm not on the train but driving
Happy brand new week full of yet unclaimed adventure and excitement - claim away my friends, claim away
Daffers - the trains I use are not so much wine and chocolates, more Stella and a packet of crisps first thing in the morning. Big respect for your eventful 20 miles - I hate to think what adding 6 will bring - UFOs and crop circles?
Hope the bad back brigade are more bendy today.
JFF - hope you're feeling less uppy downy too - when you felt like you had been hit by a hammer are you sure someone didn't contact you with a blunt instrument? Would be the obvious explanation.
Glad to hear DG is on the mend and that chemo should return him to full healthy greyhound status.
Told boss over the phone. I think her gob was quite smacked. Feel quite relieved as I'm not good with secrets, though we need to decide when and how to tell managers as still have some time before I can ride off into the sunset. Have to say though that this week hasn't been my most productive. The weekend may start a little early in the midlands.
Happy Friday one and all, may the TOB pause in just the right place to give Noggs a great view, may 5 o'clock come quickly then the following 50 or so hours linger in a sultry fashion over a chilled glass of wine with good friends and the family members you're still talking to
Can't allow you all to have a competition to guess what I'll be doing as your suggestions will be far more exciting, then I'll regret the job I've just accepted. In many ways, a very similar job - covering the South of the country leading on quality for a company which provides specialist education - provision for children on the autistic spectrum, with behavioural difficulties or with health or mental health issues. So I shall still be travelling loads, but being paid quite a bit more to do so and hopefully not getting dragged into a whole load of operational stuff like I am now. Starting in January so 3 months of counting down - just need to tell the boss this morning- eeeeek.
Nice barnets Noggy and Sluggy.
How's the DG doing these days. Has his patchwork all joined up properly yet? Has he got a bit of crochet keeping his elbow together?
Larry - hope the back eases off soon
20 miles Daffers - thud. I would say 'enjoy' but every time I think of it I start laughing, and not in a kindly way
Happy Thursday - I hope it's black bin day and not green, because that's the one sitting out on the pavement waiting for a bit of action
