Stevie - thanks, I might give that a try, if I get time to fit it in.
My November stats: I ran 160 miles and had five rest days. I did two tempo runs, four interval sessions and two races. I got 1 pb.
I think I can now work out why I am slowest on this thread! Must try harder! |

Addy - you will be made for them. 2/3 times per week? Very impressive!
Steve - thanks for that. I don't train on a track just nice flat paths with my garmin, which is fine but what pace are your steady laps roughly? |

Stevie G - Bad night and morning for you. Hopefully the rest of today has been better.
Dean - Hopefully it won't take you too long to get rid of it.
Addylad, that is a hard session, should get you in good condition!
After my hill sprints last night, I'm undecided what to do for my other quality session. The club are doing 7 x 800m with 90 secs recovery. I can't make that but was wondering if I would be better doing a tempo run instead of the intervals. What does everyone think? I'm aiming for a 10k pb on the 19th December. |

Some quality sessions tonight.
Dean, You have really been going for it lately and got some really good sessions in. Just one of those night's I think. I'm sure you'll be fine again next week.
I did my first proper session with the club tonight. It was 15 x 30 second Hill sprints with about a minute recovery in between. I was in the fastest group but probably about last, which I'm quite happy with at the moment but won't be in a few months. It was a good session but it's the first time I have done it so it was difficult to pace. I've got a feeling my legs are going to be sore tomorrow though! It does make it so much easier to do a hard session with other runners to push you harder. |

Bus - Well done, nice new pb. Shame the garmin spoilt it a bit
I'm not going to have the data fields set up with and any sort of pace the next time I race and see what happens. |
