Hii all, sorry if you have seen my post before. But I need your advise about a operation for patella tendinitis, that I have planned next month. I was a serious runner, until about a year ago, when i got my injury, damage tissues on the below the knee. I have been to the physio and a few other doctors and I had ultrasounds and a MRI scans done. The results are patella tendinsis. Now I am worried, if the operation is the best way forward. Will my knee be the same as before and how long will take to recover. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone. Hope you had a nice Xmas. I am looking for advise, I do have patella tendinitis and I have a operation planned for next month and I am thinking, is the operation the best way forward. I have already had a mri scan and it showed damage tissues and i did about 8 sisions of ultrasound. Now I really do love my running and I have not run for a year now because of my injury and I am worried about this operation, will my knee recover fully after the operation. Help please. The big question is, do I go ahead with the operation.
