I'm in for the Waterside too. Pity that it's on the same day as the Laganside 10k as I used to do them both. It's a good race Jason, big numbers and a decent course. They changed the route last year to bring it more into the city. Now it takes in a lot of the marathon route along the cycle path, with a deceptively stiff climb up to the Foyle Bridge. It's my 50th half-marathon, so a bit of a milestone.
Best wishes to anyone racing, especially in the marathon in Armagh.
You're running well Rodney. I'm undecided about Albertville. It's handy for me so I might head down to it. I ran the Les Jones 10k on Friday and Annaghmore last night: a few hills in those two races, so a flat course like Albertville would be good..
Just reading back over the posts for the last few weeks, it's a change to see no one from here running in the London or Belfast marathons (apart from your 'unofficial' run Jason ). The forum used to be buzzing with runners in one or other race.
Was intending to run at Larne but missed out when they closed the entries. I should know by now to get my entry in early . Great to see the event so popular though. I went to Omagh on Saturday. Windy conditions at times but the rain stayed off during the race. Managed to dip under 1:45 thanks to the pacer who did a great job. I took in the Whitehead 5 miler on Easter Monday as well - nice to get two races over the long weekend. Next up is the Titanic Quarter 10k (entered early this time).
