Was intending to run at Larne but missed out when they closed the entries. I should know by now to get my entry in early . Great to see the event so popular though. I went to Omagh on Saturday. Windy conditions at times but the rain stayed off during the race. Managed to dip under 1:45 thanks to the pacer who did a great job. I took in the Whitehead 5 miler on Easter Monday as well - nice to get two races over the long weekend. Next up is the Titanic Quarter 10k (entered early this time).
Maybe of interest to anyone who has completed the London marathon in the past:
Every finisher in the 35 previous races will be able to order a special #oneinamillion edition T-shirt printed with their unique #oneinamillion finisher number. The online ordering system for the #oneinamillion T-shirts will go live onVirgin Money London Marathon website on Friday 5 February 2016.
Seeley wasn't too bad, rain held off at the start until about half way round. There was quite a bit of standing water in the park. I had already got soaked marshalling at Waterworks on Sat morning, so it was nicer to be running than watching. Thanks for the shout Mags.
Good to hear from you again Rodney. Good luck with the training HMM. Hope to make it to ROTG myself.
