Got my number through - good job as I didnt realise it was already that close! Did just over 18 last Saturday without problems, so I'm confident I'll be OK.  Look forward to seeing you RFJ and everyone else.  Hope its not cancelled.  What are the local roads like for traveling there - coming from Oxford way is it best to go all the way to Newbury 1st and travel across or go to M4 and then down from J12?

Have just entered the 20 - although according to RW entries closed yesterday!! Look out for me RFJ as it seems I'm all alone from Alchester club , I think most club peeps are doing hardwick x-stream.  I was recommended to try this one out as part of flm training.

RFJ - you sound like you are really on the up!

Lorenzo - its Doyen of the Downs or something - starts at Arundel in East Sussex, I think it finishes there too.  I was too cautious to go for something longer, figure I should be able to manage another 4 miles after 26 !

Are you going for sub 3.15 next then?

Love the pic Chidge - need to find mine now!..

I got to say I thought the drinks were plenty - I didnt drink at all stops, including the last one.  I wore a belt with lucozade sport drink - but didnt drink any until I'd finished. Also I only took 2 gels.

And maybe I'm a bit strange - but I thought the steps up to get the tea at the end were good - keeping my legs moving so I could cool down properly.

I'm really glad that I got a chance to do this one - its definately a marathon gold winner!
