I didnt mind standing in the rain getting very wet and cold, with my brollie leeking because the rain was so heavy. It was easy knowing that after the race, a quick drive home, shower, change collect the wife and off to east mids airport to fly to the sun for a week. by the time some of you had caught your breath i was in a restaurant in spain, and it was hot!!!!.
Hopefully no need to bribe me for next year as I hope to be racing it again, having done both the race and the marshalling bit, I know where I'd rather be!!!. | |

| some good photo's out there. well done to everyone who raced. Due to illness I had to pull out of all races this year, but I was one of the willing volunteers who stood in the rain and guided you in the right direction after the feed station on the bike to make sure you did the full two laps!!!, as well as numerous other locations to halp the day run smoothly. The weather was appauling, so well done all. I will hopefully be there for next year... | |

| I've found the entry form but very little else in respect of this race. Is it definately on or is someone trying to pull a scam and claim the entry fees?? BCT web site doesn't say anything, even on their news page and I would have thought it would have been pretty high up on that side of things!!. | |
