Well I am in with a couple of my Sandbach Striders buddies that I have convinced to run it by telling them its an easy course  done the Brathay marathon Sunday and that was hilly struggled at the Uttoxeter half but I expect Buxton to be prettier. Can you confirm that there is still enteries on the day.. .? |

I'm in , number came today, just gotta get round, I've done 3 marathon distance races including a 34 mile ultra in the last 7 weeks, so death or glory  | |

Well Im home, came in at 4-40 so a new PB by 8 mins, struggled as usual in the last 6 miles, but this time I made it to mile 23 before the struggle, Great course, Great cause, great Marshalls, Great public support, All in all, well worth the money | |

Obsessive weather watch means obsessive clothing choice,
Vest, t shirt, long sleeves short sleeves, long skins short skins, the choice is limited somewhat as I'm running for help for heros so have a vest to wear as opposed to my club shirt. But will I be cold will I be hot, only the finish will give me the answer.
Obsessive aches and pains have began, every twinge is a stress fracture, every sniff is man flu, every sneeze is tropical bird flu.
Have a nice little 5 mile x country race tonight so should keep me nice and stiff | |
