.if hairless armpits are easier  to clean then surely we should all shave our heads

Completely agree with seren nos.

I've never found hairy armpits hard to clean.  A bit of soap and water seems to do the trick wonderfully quickly and with very little effort  (And I've never found "debris" in there like I think someone else mentioned.)

Shaving armpits is fine if that is what you prefer to do but I really can't see that it has anything to do with hygiene.

I agree with Muttley on this.

Surely nobody is going to subscribe just to get to a web page to enter an event that you can usually enter on line elsewhere.

I deliberately took a pay cut.

I worked for an IT software house as a "consultant" for a few years which involved long journeys to work and time out on customer sites. (As well as the need to speak rubbish and promise to deliver the world in next to no time !)

It wasn't for me so I handed back the company car, took a paycut of about 40% and moved on.

10 years on and I don't regret it at all.  But then I was lucky.  While I had been earning more I hadn't developed an extravagent life style so even allowing for the drop in salary I could still pay the mortgage and feed the family.

I agree with Maddy - I need to be happy (or happier - let's not be overly ambitious here ) to enjoy the other things in life.

.so this black lad who came.thinking about it he must have been fostered...... was held down and has tippex stripes painted on his face......

Well bang goes my theory about him not seeing it as bullying.  Even allowing for changing attitudes with time that sounds extreme. No idea why he would keep coming back for that kind of treatment.

Interesting hearing that some people feel they were bullied because they enjoyed school.  I like to think I was fairly bright and enjoyed school until the age of 8.  After that I hated every last second of it.

Like Grendel3 I think it has affected my friendships over the years.  I have a few close friends but it takes a long time for those friendships to develop.  I am always wary of new people and tend to have more women friends than men.  Maybe that has to do with the fact that I went to an all boys school so obviously I was bullied by lads.

I can never be certain that what I see as personality flaws are to do with being bullied, but it seems likely to me.
