500 seems a bit less than other halfs in area...... other halfs? I've re-read yer post a few times.... 'tis but 7 miles, not a half. I'll not be entering this year :0( because even though I started this thread last year, I didn't actually find anyone to cover my on call. Not sure I'd do any good at it as I'm doing Worksop this Sunday.
Good luck to one and all, it's a lovely race.

I'm #486 Paula is #484 I'll splice them into the list....
Not sure what I'll be running in, down the weather this time of year. I was in a t-shirt and shorts last sunday which was perfect, but who knows what the weather will be up to by Sunday.

1600!!!! Cool. Hopefully won't be last then :0) Vyrnwy was about 1400 I think. I'm taking this week easy, I started tapering about a week before.....a week before Lake Vyrnwy :0( , and haven't really tapered back up again, getting by on a 3 miler in the week and a longer run, 8 - 11 miles, on a Sunday. This is insufficient for a good time, but should get me around. I'm hoping for 2.10 Will try to do a couple of runs this week but we'll see.
I won't say "I'll see you there" because I won't. I never seem to see anyone off the forum at races but, hey ho.
