Womble- are you doing the Peterborough half?? There is a training programme on the site.....I just jumped into last week. It does call for 'trying' to run 10 miles on Sunday though which seems a bit hairy considering I only started training a couple of weeks ago.( I had been running previously but with no real focus)

I have missed one run from the schedule but do feel like I am making progress .......although comments from the people I pass by are less than complimentary.......ie. " I would chase you but I think I would need to give you a half hour head start " ......( hope this is not a bad sign??) I am working 45 hours a week and running afterwards sometimes pushing a running buggy, so I am beyond shattered before I even start but I am determined to get my training in.

Hi , I decided to enter this one at the beginning of the week to give myself a focus and some motivation, so far so good I have stuck to the training schedule on the site....I am not fast- but slow and steady is getting the job done. This is my first half ever and I am looking forward to it!!

Thank you all for all your help I will definately take a look at all suggestions I have so been enjoying my running again but without being able to take baby Izzy with it means having to stick with short runs!! And the bug has bitten hard with me wanting to go full steam ahead into training again.......partly to reduce the size of my mummy tummy and partly for the sheer joy at being out there again!!

Hi I had my baby 6 months ago and am now ready to start training again ideally I would like to take little one with me as there isn't always someone to watch her. Who makes a good baby jogger and what am I looking for when purchasing one.
