Thanks guys, felt so down about it But I'm just going to pick myself up, and start next week as a new week, and carry on , just wanted some reassurance.
first run i have missed so not doing too bad, and no-one said marathon training was easy
I have been training 4 times a week, my mileage has got upto 16.2
today I was supposed to be doing 18, but I felt awful, and pulled up after 2.5 :/ , I done 8 on Friday, so I suppose that is now my 'long' run but I am way short if what I should of done
i have 6 weeks left, bath half next week, so that's only 13, have I totally blown my training ?
I cannot defer as I have deferred my place for London next year.
Any advice would bro greatly appreciated
Can anyone recommend a 'cheap' hotel for the Bristol half ? Or where the start is, so I can look for a hotel near the start .
Well, my running has been sporadic to say the least
After VLM last year, had 5 weeks off, which became 7, and have not managed to pick it back up since ! just started to get into regular running again, and slowly getting there, but its so hard !
Have entered Sodbury Slog in november, so gotta pick up the milage a bit by then !
