Hi Kim,  I had the same sensation but also a gagging type issue as all the wetsuits came up too high on me.  I tried a lot on until I found one that was lower on the neck, and have learn to put the wetsuit on so there is room around the chest area-there should be no room to move!  Once you get in the water it is a lot better thank goodness!!  Good luck

I had to walk in parts but always went to the side, I still got barged by people even though I was practically on the curb.  The volume of people really hurt me today, just couldn't get a rhythm and then the heat....I have got quite sunburnt on my shoulders (and I used lotion!!)  So a busy day, but as usual amazing.  I am going to choose another marathon to try and run it rather than stumble along like today-so I can do a decent time!!

Wow what a great idea, and some amazing causes too.

I am running the LM for a charity very close to my heart, some people are very uncomfortable with the cause-but I like to talk about it all the same!

I lost my first child just prior to birth, there was nothing wrong with him he was perfect.  I cannot even describe the pain myself and my family felt at the time. Sadly 17 babies a day are born and either die at birth or shortly after.  I am one of those statistics.  During my time of deep grief Sands gave me emotional support, and gave me hope for the future.

The money I am raising is going to be used specifically for a memorial garden which gives a peaceful place to go for grieving parents.  It is a place of great comfort for parents, and I would love to help raise some money towards such a great project.

I am a keen runner, and I try hard but I am not super fast!!  It is a sport I enjoy and is what I turned to when I lost my son.  I am lucky enough to have gone on to have 2 boys nowadays I use running to clear my head in a different way!  Thanks for reading.

I love running in the snow, but once it becomes ice it stops being fun.  I really hurt my ankles in the last batch of ice, cost me a lot of money to get right again!!  I will run off road as long as it is snow and not that lumpy bumpy stuff.  I do prefer outside and love the cold etc just don't want to damage my ankles again...
