Feedback from folk I know that have done Loch Ness is that it's hilly. Like Eggy this has been on my wish list for a wee while so going to enjoy the scenery and hang on in there until I find the fudge. And enjoy the great company of all you lot.
Another thumbs up for Inov-8s for trails, I use the Trailroc 246, great grip in mud, bog and stones. Salomon get a lot of good reviews too. I'm waiting to try out Altra Olympus when they come on the market here shortly, they have a wide toebox.
Off to running group now, only 13k this morning, should manage that! Tomorrow is the colour run which I'm not doing but lots of the group are.
Best of luck for tomorrow all you London peeps, and Emmy in Rotterdam.
runnersbean, a couple of the girls from my running group came in over 6hrs and still got their medals.
Heroine in a Half Shell, I've written to the organisers about your medal. Not promising anything but if you could email me your story and name, bib number, address etc then hopefully you will get a replacement. Sent you a PM here with my email address.
