Ok, maybe my punctuation wasn't the best,
Phil graves will be giving the advice,
There will also be a physio and coaches giving free advice.
And according to the email a chance to win some tri related gear, looks like its worth a look if you're in Stratford registering on Saturday. |

i shall be there, in the hall doing the massage all day. if anyone is in stratford on saturday the 12th there is a new triathlon shop having a big opening on saturday, phil graves will be there giving advice, free physio consultations, free massage, endless pool (free swim coaching i think) and other things. this is a blatant plug for the shop but still should be interesting for anyone who is at a loose end in stratford. its called simplyrun (was a running shop but moving into triathlon) |

i've been known to just wear cycling or running kit under a wetsuit when i didn't want to wear a trisuit, it will be a little damp but will soon dry out unless its raining, and then it wont matter anyway. tri uk (www.triuk.co.uk) or maybe .com hire wetsuits, i had my first one for a season for £25, with the option to buy at the end of the season. there are plenty of other hire places too. remember a bit of baby oil around the shoulders/neck/armpits to stop chafing (vaseline rots wetsuits). some people put talk in their bike and run shoes too. and practice cycling and going straight into a run!!! i'm sure there are people here from your area who will offfer more advice or places to train. good luck, matt |

i'll have a go at this one again, think i've done 5 or 6 times. it's an easy bike course but you need to be careful of the traffic, there's been a few minor roadworks where you join the a46 but it seems better and safer. i'm just hoping that i get my swimming back to how it was, i have added 1 min to my 400m time for no reason i can think of? my bike and run have improved though! |

if you don't find anything let me know, the bike i have would just about fit, its a little small really and as i want it for long distance training its not really suitable, but for shorter rides and races it would make a good start. its quite old (retro) but only been used half a dozen times, it was hanging up in a shop unused until i talked them into selling it to me. it has shifters on the down tube. saying all that it was a good quality bike in its day, mint condition and actually rides very well. |
