Well, what a day. Well done to everyone. My that was hot and hilly - one of the hills I was almost crawling up. My quads were telling me to stop - they were getting very tight. But I was having none of it  - post race stretching sorted them out.

Joe, what's all this bike stuff, secret biathlon training?

Echo other's thoughts - well marshalled and plenty of water stations. I finished around 1:37 and the queue for water, lollies and medals was OK. But my friend came in around 2 hours and it was chaos, massive queues to get water and lollies gone AWOL. Couldn't agree more that immediately after a race you need to get fluid into folk fast - even more so today with the temperature.

WELL DONE EVERYONE - IT WAS TOUGH BUT YOU SURVIVED.

Almost there. Let's get out there and enjoy ourselves on Sunday.

SK - How did you get on with the bananas this morning?

 See you all soon.
