I ran my first marathon in April, prior to that i did the North Run and a couple of other half marathons, and have been running for about 18 months. I followed a training plan to the letter and ran five days a week, covering between 30-40 miles towrds the end. Since the FLM I have found it really difficult to get back running and have only been out three times. i know now I am making excuses. Any sugestions? Should I sign up for another race? is it normal to be struggling like this?
I stopped mine on 26.2 as I wanted to see my time for that distance but I did not cross the line for another 3mins! wish I had just left it running but my then I was making poor judgements all round.
