Had a very good wekend with the boys ( Tony / Scott ) had a good 12.8k walk over the local hills with Tony to another pub and Scott dsid his mad 20 mile run to meet up had a few pints came home to mrs and all went out for Indian meal. I was cook for the next day so was chuffed with results , did leg of lamb- honey roast parsnips- roast potato-carrots.- mashed potato a few boiled carrots ( use water from carrots for gravy) mint sauce and yorkshire pud.All may I add were made from scratch none of this frozen stuff all washed down with some bubbly just to complete mothers day with the boys.
Mrs is still wrapped up under the duvet now so leaving her in peace
Lots of (((((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))))) for poorly and sad Waisters and an extra (((()))))) for Coco. Sad your running days are over but as Tubbs said ( I think ) a lot of Waisters are not running anymore but you have Noggy with his bike and other swimming people so running is not mandatory for Waister family.
It has taken well over three weeks since the "bug" got me and I am still feeling rather flat with lots of cba for doing anything. It looks like I am getting dragged out by Tony and Scott for a walk Saturday so that will be me on my knees by the end of the day. Scott is running from his house to meet up for the "walk" so he will be doing about 17 miles first and Tony who does not run at all but has the fastest walking rate I know he has been known to walk 10k in just under one hour so i would be jogging and still get left behind. The object of the day is to finish at a pub when we come off the hills so a bit of local brew here :- http://www.theinnatmuckhart.com/
will call back again some time to see what you have all been up to and if Daffs has got a windmill and Chuggy's kinder have managed to get home for a rest and stop her worrying.
Think M.eldy snot monster has traveled north our house is full of it at the moment I am the lucky one but don't know how long will hold out.
Scott and Tony are staying over for the weekend ( as usual ) and we did the over the hills pub walk for the first time for a couple of weeks. Scott is suffering from the snot monster the worst and struggles for breath going up the hill so he walked over with me and managed to stay with me .
Nice to see lots of activities planned plus Noggy remodeling his house .
We had a nice time down south for the wedding but weather was English mist and wet after our freezing crisp days up here. Heading down Nottingham next month for eldest daughters 50th with rest of family so should be a merry time ,
Booked up an AI holiday during May in Portugal its a few years since we were in that country.
I do read back but use the" cant remember" individual adventures so good luck to you all and will be back again honest. Now where did Noggy hide the coffee pot.
morning hope not late to send some vibes to the Spence clan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A bit down at the moment this Sunday is a trail run I was wanting to do it was not far and I could still turn up and walk it but that's not the point. I did enter it very early about October last year hoping things would work out but no joy on that front. I will go and support the runners and Scott who are doing the longer club distance..
Tony has completed his first week at the job he got and appears to be settling in.I gave him our car as it was easier to stay with Scott and commute from there. He is in the same boat as tubs he cant drive at night and bright sun is a problem so the shorter distance to work suits him.
Off down Retford way next weekend for a wedding but going by train as dont fancy a long drive this weather.
I am about to bite the bullet and get on the scales I'm loosing site of my feet these days
