I'm covered with Norwich Union Healthcare. My wife has more than had her moneys worth out of them with *ahem* womens things.

They will not cover pre-existing conditions though. Many policies cover physio up to a cash limit per annum.

This happens to me. I cured myself by being determined to run for a longer time, and forgot the distance.

In other words, run slooower for say 40 minutes. See what happens, and also soulds like you might have to change your route to do this.

Echo advice above, and just to add...

1)Don't feel guilty about rest days, as these are the days that you will benefit most from! It is then that the body builds to cope with the additional workyou're making it do.

2)Accept that some runs will be cr@p. It happens to us all, but it also makes you appreciate the good'uns.

3)Have fun.

Go for it Pea.

Just to add that it was my slowest marathon by around 40 minutes, but I wouldn't swap the memories for anything!
