2) It's your first marathon - don't get hung up about your time. Relax and enjoy the support - there are other marathons for PB's.
I had a time in mind and within 7miles knew I was so far off my pace I would not achieve my goal but being able to soak up the atmosphere made up for it
I have the same problem - I am in Pen 9 as I estimated my marathon time having never run. Recently run Hasting half in 2hrs and now worried I am not going to achieve my FLM target time due to being so far back.
I have heard the Bowen technique is lovely super smashing great!! I would definately give it a go as you dont want to regret it and have to think - here's what I could have run
