Evening Tom, VO2Max, its out there some where. It'll be a lot of hard work to get it back and I'm not sure I want to put my body through all that stress now. So casual running for me, loads of stopping and admiring the views. If its wet of windy well.... I might just stay indoors. Hapy running. |

De-lurks Great efforts from BR, Gobi and Chouette Message for Scooby re achillies. Keep doing the squats!!!! Do them with up to half your body weight supported on your shoulders, 40/60 am, 40/60 pm. Why? If your achillies is like mine then it may not get better unless you go under the knife. So strenghten the other bits. My achillies still gives me jip but my other bits are very strong now so I run quite well. If I ever get my VO2Max back to what it was two years ago I could be a decent Vet 50. Me, if I do 30 MPW thats a high mileage week. I'm spending lots more time coaching than I am running Take care all. Soda Re-lurks |
