Somebody did say their prayers - weather was great wasn't it?
Really impressed - thought it was going to be dreadful running in such a big crowd but it was so well organised. Support was great all the way round.
Good to see you again Farnie (and Cally) - and I can say I ran past Gebrselessie in a 10K race!!!! (just don't mention he was at 8k and I was going the other way at 3!) DG snuck in the white wave with her pink number and I got 12 secs slower than PB on the back of no training!!!! HA HA HA!
Good Day

I did Wilmslow last year: the course is certainly not as 'undulating' but the race felt very congested.  Today I felt I was running with people but not having to dodge around people - which was excellent!

What a fantastic Race!  I beat my champagne target and did (Chip) 1:44:37  - consistent 8 min miles - beating my previous pb of 1:52.  Superb weather - excellent organisation, nice medal.

Thanks to Viking for the lift there - and thanks to the two Pirates (was it Cougie and Iron Rose) "ambling" along at 7min miles - who I tagged behind for mile 3 so I had a minute in the bank!

Hi, DG here again, stealing hubbies computer!!

JP posted this on Facebook last night  "JP is happy with 4 hrs 28 at Disney marathon it's a bit hotter than uk"   So he finished!!

LB baking???  Will believe it when I see it, but the recipe does sound good and quick and easy!!

Well done GFB a good first weeks training!

Kwilter - fingers crossed you don't have to repeat the treatment, would never have thought of olive oil for fish oils either.

LB hope the dishy doc gives you good news.  Are you planning to run during Kidzone?

Ended up opting for the dreadmill last night.  Ran for 1:07, but only managed 5 miles in that time.  Given that only a couple of months ago I considered 11 min miles to be LSR pace I'm pretty disappointed in myself, but trying to be happy that I ran for over an hour!!
