Photos are up peeps! http://marathon-photos.com/index.html I had such a great run, it was my first marathon and I thought after the long training runs that it would be my last, but I've promised myself a flat boring one! I think I owe it to myself |

Hey all!!! Went to the lakes on Saturday and didn't have net access til today's return. Thanks for all the well wishes, it's great support as always. I found the marathon tough going but managed to run the whole thing without stopping or walking in 4:31, which I think is pretty good considering the hills. There were hills galore including two that when we drove the route we had to go up in 1st gear!!! one at 7 miles and one at 21 miles! Was a great crowd and beautiful weather, I can't find the marathon photos on the net anyway, but I'll keep looking. I felt OK yesterday after a load of fluids and some food. Managed to go out for a few Guinnui and some kareoke. Feel a tad groggy today, but think that might just be the hangover Back to work tomorrow though Hope everyone's had a great weekend and it's great to see everyone doing so well. I hope everyone's various injusries repair well! |
