does anyone know what the parking is like here for this run? i would imagine it should be pretty good for as its richmond park but if anyone has any info please let me know!
i've done the Reading half 3 times previously and am entered again for this years event. for those of you worried about hills....dont stress...there is a short sharp hill after 2 miles, and then a bit of a steady incline up one street after about half way or 7 milesish. i promise you though neither are much to worry about. it is a great race in my opinion , and the support pretty much all the way around will help keep you going. the worst part for me is the last mile and a bit when you go down to green park and back on yourself again when you are oh so close to the stadium....but by then adrenaline will get you there!!! am looking to get into the 1.40's this year if possible!!! cant wait!!!
yes i was 3-4 minutes slower than my normal 10k...not making excuses, but the lack of passing areas didn't help on some p-arts of the course...and that final hill caught me out a bit as well!!!!
